they stock the harpeth over by franklin somewhere, and the harpeth is in my backyard but the trout never make it this far, there are two ponds in my area that get stocked, one in kingston springs and one in dickson..i know about the schedule..last year me and the wife caught our limit 2 days in a row right after the second stocking, but i have gone this year right after the first stocking which was like 2 weeks ago and had no luck

I always go upstream from where they stock and wade out in there a little bit...toss a super duper and look for the deeper holes...it's fun, but they sure aren't very big..don't think I've ever fished a stocked pond though, so good luck with that

it is almost too easy, hook some corn or cheese and reel em in, that is when they are biting...they are small but they sure are good eatin

Makes it more exciting with a super duper instead of corn! I usually end up dropping the corn in the water while I'm wading and ends up feeding all the fish..so, I stick to the arificials

Fished Kingston Springs yesterday. They were biting good yesterday. Ended up catching them on Berkley powerbait but corn was working very good also.

Unfortunately, they don't!! Up here I fish the Pere Marquette, the Pentwater, Au Sable, Huron...and Mepps and Little Cleos work much better...kinda weird. Must have something to do with imitating their natural food source. The key on the super dupers is to not let them "spin"...they need to come thru the water in a half moon type back and forth motion....

i like kastmasters.... even better kast-aways at half the price
i think the stockers wont eat for a while in ponds and small lakes till they get super hungry
