How many of you guys use electric carts? What is your favorite you have used if you don't own one? Has anybody tried the device that fits on the muffler of ATV to reduce noise?

ive got an 05 ezgo golf cart with a 6 inch lift and big tires. it pulled me and big8's around my place for a few hours. it started going dead when we were headed back to the truck but it hadnt been charged in a week. my charger is supposed to automatically cut on when it starts losing charge but i dont think its working right. i didnt pull out a deer with it this year or anything. but as far as riding around the property and quietness you cant beat it. plus its more comfortable than a 4 wheeler

My dad has the silencer that goes over the muffler on his honda rancher, it helps a little, but I don't think its worth the $200 he paid for it.

how do they go on hills and rough terrain?I hunt some big hills and was not sure if they would climb them or cross small ditches.

RAFL. i have a small ditch in my yard that big8's was positive it wouldnt go up and it went right up it with no problem and it was pretty wet. as far as hills i dont have alot of hills. theres one big one i have to come up from my stand and it climbed it just fine with both of us on it. mine is precision drive. it slows itself down going down a hill and is supposed to have more pulling power to take it up a hill.

I've heard that the electric carts had a tendency to turn over on hills or uneven terrain when, particularly going horizontal with the hill instead of straight up or down. Any truth to that?

Rem270, I have an ezgo that I keep at the golf course. The charger, when plugged in charges till batteries are fully charged. It then cuts off. If the cart sits and batteries lose charge it will not cut back on until you physically unplug it and then plug it back in.
