I am over it..I went to my favorite hunting spot this morn, way early, guesss what, my two new ladder stands that have been up since early summer were gone, not cheapos either,the good ones..
all that was left was the very top of them.I had put two side by side for Sweetie and me in a spot that NOBODY but me have hunted all year,not seeen a single soul out in that certain valley..I know for a fact that no one hunted in there but me,as I was there every day and evening..They also cut all the posted signs on that side of the road , about 20 signs all told..I dont know how they found the stands ,mabey saw me going in??
I will catch them as I have video cams all around that area and already know they are from polk county ,and what truck they drive,and that there are 3 of them..I am only scared of what I will do when I get my hands on them,it wont be a very pretty sight..thanks for listening to my rant..

After losing a couple of stands last year, we started welding our own Ladder Stands. They weigh 100 lbs and they will need a 20 trailer to haul them out. Don't cost us much as long as the scrap pile holds out.

First, report it to local law enforcement, give them your pictures and when yall figure out who they are, sign warrants for theft and trespassing and then let the court take care of it. Theres nothing I would like better than to see somebody stomp their asses for doing this, but in the long run its better to let LEO take care of it. I really hope you find em and put em in jail.

I do like the other poster on here, I make my own ladder stands and they have to be dragged to the site with an ATV.
They are very heavy and made out of 2x6 lumber, somebody would blow a testicolae trying to cart one off.

I hate to see stuff like this but it doesn't surprise me since I have been dealing with these kind of individuals for the last 18 yrs.. I would let the local law enforcement deal with it.. I know it might be a long road and you might get frustrated with the results but you never want to stoop to their (criminals) level.

I had 2 ladders stolen this past summer. I know who it was that stole them but I don't have any proof. When I catch the guy in the woods I will get some compensation for my stands. What kind of compensation will be up to him. I think Iceman is in McMinn Co. also and hope he has better luck with the county sheriffs department than I had.
