How will the local tournaments go about with the new limit???? Will the anglers just have a 3 fish weigh in or 2 fish?

There were a couple of petitions going around trying to reverse the new regulations. There was one at Outdoor Junction in Cookeville.

Maybe Pickwick's is even more. Tennessee's fisheries went against all biological data that not only they but TVA, Alabama and Mississippi had and changed the regs anyway.

Thank goodness those other two states had some common sense. Apparently the TWRA fishery leadership never heard the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

If I remember the numbers correctly, the slot limit is 17" - 23" with two allowed under and one over.

I actually see it putting an end to tourneys on the Hull but maybe not.

with the 18" smallie regs,,you would have to have 3 monsters,,to win,,unless everybody showed with 2 16" LM..
