I sold my first story in 1959 at the age of 15. I just did the math again, that is only 51 years. I can write, I can't cipher.

That first story sold for three cents a word. It was 2250 words long and has been sold 17 times since then. It has won every award it was ever elegible for. I wrote it on a yellow tablet paper with a #2 pencil. The last time it was published, Keith "Catfish" Sutton ran it in Arkansas Wildlife and it won another award. I'm very proud of that story.
