I read about that new design in XXX Racks. That apple pattern is nice too.

Those are unsafe. To many hunters getting bitten from behind.

I agree with Rusty, people plant food plots mainly to kill a deer in. Food plot or a feeder..it is food, another thing alot of hunters dont have the equipment, time, or extra money for the food plots. I would'nt mind seeing it become legal.

In the long run you get more food for your money planting but like rusty said food is food . I am going to hunt the way i want to and won't be baiting regardless if they make it legal or not so what ever they do is fine by me.....

I remember a seminar at the vous about baiting in SC. It didn't make baiting seem like a good or worthwhile thing to do. It was also more expensive than I think it would be worth.

Many years ago I did do some baiting up in Michigan; sugar beets, pumpkins, carrots, and ocassionally corn. I don't see a problem with it, but up there you could only take one buck (2nd had to have 4 points on one side.) They did reduce baiting back to 5 gallons per day since it did spread diseases quickly. (EHD)
Only problem I see is if it were biologically harmful to the herd with spreading diseases. Either legalize baiting and lower the buck limit, or leave it how it is. I'll get mine either way.
