I believe there are typicals that would push close to 200" here in Davidson Co. & I have seen one just over the border in KY. I know I have seen some that would break our typical record of 186 but it is hard to tell from a distance if they will be completely typical. 200" of total, typical, symetrical antler is a lot!!! and I think unlikely but I can't believe our typical record of 186 has stood for so long.

Now, 200" nontypical... I'd say there's 20 or so running around out there
I know of one property in TN that produces a buck of that size nearly every year. I've seen the trail-cam pictures. BSK, have you ever saw pics of a 200" free ranging typical in TN?
Yes.

Thats interesting, especially in TN. Very few of these type deer have ever been killed or seen anywhere in the country, but a few do exist. I'm glad to hear that TN is graced with the presence, and I truly hope some hunter kills one here someday!

Make that 3! A 200 typical whitetail is probably less than .001 percent of the entire deer population anywhere. I have seen trail cam pics.from Ohio,Indiana,Iowa,Illinois,Kansas,Kentucky,Missouri,Mississippi and other states of deer that are pushing 200 with a few that might be just north of that mark BUT not one from TN. The closest 1 that I have seen with my own eyes was a poached deer from close to Fall Creek Falls several yrs. ago. Deer was 16 pnt. in the mid 190s.Genetics from Wisconsin in that area. 200 typical inches of antler is hard to attain in the perfect scenerio of age, genetics and food. Doubtful those come together anywhere in TN.

West or middle TN?
If and when a deer that size is killed in TN, Unless I'm the fortunate hunter, I hope he is nowhere near our farm.
