3 wooden dowels (1/2"-3/4") 1 Bungee cord that clips to itself with the ball
Put on together yesterday and it made a solid rest for me in the ground blind.
Cannot use it for standing shots, but good if kneeling or sitting.

Reduce the cost by using 2 sticks you pick up in the woods - then you have some shooting sticks for < $1.00 using the same bungee.

I make shooting rests out of tree limbs all the time. Free and they work great, doesn't hurt your feelings too bad if you leave one in the woods either, lol.

Dang good idea. Thinking my wood dowels may have found another purpose around the house. Less to pack in and out.

I can't make them for a dollar, but I can for less than five. Get two garden stakes from Lowes, Home Depot, or such. These are round, green and are actually hollow metal tubes that are rubber coated. You can get them various lengths and diameters depending your preference/need. Simply put a heavy duty rubber band or two doubled around them holding them together. Then just slide the rubber band into position for the height that you want to rest your rifle.
