If would be excited if it weren't for just Wii. The interactive motion sensor stuff is a good idea but rarely translates into it because its actually an outdated system with a new concept incorporated. If they put the same motion sensor stuff in an 360 or PS3...now we're talking but I imagine the fish will look mor elike Hello Kitty than ESPN outdoors. At 29.99...I am almost sure of it. The best fishing game to date is Blue Marlin for the NES. Sure it's 20 years old...but it was brilliantly executed and used the system to its max. Plus having a white shark eat a grander marlin at that boat, which then you have to fight is ridiculous.

I am waiting for the Buck Perry Spoonplug Trolling video game. You sit on your couch all day drinking beer and using your Nintendo controls to drive the boat back and forth over a dropoff. Adrenalin junkies only.

You didn't mention anything about getting into the casting position and catching 10-15 bass on consecutive casts in a school.

Btw, my Spoonplugging buddy down on Chickamauga is averaging 60-80 largemouth a day over 3 pounds "driving the boat back ad forth over a dropoff". He's taken them up to 12 pounds so far. But he's trolling down 45-55 feet deep.

I just can't wait for Wii Flyfishing. Wonder how many controller recalls and broken tv sets/windows they'll have on that one...

...the average fight time for a 12 inch fish will be 10 minutes. Epic.
