If you have problems with your feet getting sweaty in your hunting boots try some unscented anti perspirant spray like Sure. Spray your feet and toes and this will will likely stop the wet feet and socks from sweat. I have tried it and it did stop the sweating but couldn't really tell if my feet stayed any warmer. Try it and let us know how it works for you.

I've done it for years with my gym shoes. It really keeps the smell down! I use the normal push-bar type with good results.

it works. Same main ingredients for odor control as foot spray and cheaper.

I have been using the solid hunting specialist brand for years and it works great. I have walked until my feet feel very, very hot and three hours later feet still not cold and socks not wet.

Had an old First Sergeant tell me about the anti-perspirant to help cut down on blisters...keep the feet dry and less likey to blister, he also said to start using it 1 or 2 weeks before ruck marchs.

20 years later and I still have blisters...wish I had known that trick! The only thing the did for us was give us moleskin for the busted blisters!
Though washing your feet, really getting in there and washing them, and clean socks is absolutely vital.

never tried that. i just always used foot powder. i do wear a thin nylon sock under my wool socks.
