Iíve not tried this yet and it may have already been posted. Has anyone tried to use one of those power junction boxes and cut out the front for the flash and camera lens? Maybe weld some tubes on the sides for a cable or chain to secure to the tree. If you have tried this post some pics. When I get one built Iíll post the pics.

i had a camera stole a few year ago.i came up with the idea to build a box to put it in.since i made my first one and it worked good i have made a few more for my hunting buddies.i used scrap metal from were i work to make them.when i get a chance i will post pics.

Cool idea but if you leave it there long enough some crook will come back with tools and steal it anyways.

you got that right i hade about 4 stolen now and i figure i quit buying the moultrie 5.0 mega digital cameras and just buy cheap ones like stealth cams and made it clear on my land i had cameras whatching cameras so either way i got you on camera and not a one got stolen since so now i'm goin to buy some more of them moultrie 5.0 megapixal digital cameras on day when i get my money built back up

I saw someone that had built the camera enclosures out of old military ammo containers. Looked cheap and effective.

Buy a bicycle lock complete with cable and all and just run it throuhg holes on camera

my dad use to write our names on our deer stands with a permanent marker - when I asked him why - he said "so they will know who's they stole" - i'd say he was just about right.
