I have the Costa Del Mar "man o war". I will never buy anything else. Mine are the 580 too so they have the glass lenses that cut out all of the harmful light! Go with Costa, you will be more than happy with your choice!

$10 Polarized Berkley's. I can see shallow underwater contours and cover as good as my buddy and his $170 Costa Del Mar's. Neither of us could see it with our glasses off, but if I drop mine in I laugh and buy another pair whereas he cries and digs deeeeep in his wallet for another pair......What can I say I'm a tight wad \:D

I'll second the Berkleys. The first pair of Costas that fly outta the boat or you sit on.. and you'll agree.

Basically, I want to be able to see into the water...not caring so much about styling or even how I look in them...just good sunblockers so I don't squint all day on the water and the ability to see in the water...

I used Action Optics for about 10 years until I tried Costa del Mars. I am now hooked.

I'll tell you what...I also have a pair of $200+ Ray Ban's that have glass, polarized bla bla bla lenses.....I wore them fishing a couple times this year and was a nervous wreck because I didn't want to lose them bending over to grab fish and things like that. I just went back to my trusty Berkley's. Just make sure you get the ones that are POLARIZED and you'll have good depth perception of the water, and you'll have less to worry about. IMO

They don't look bad either...lol
