They do! At least they did, haven't been to either in a long time - caught my first smallmouth at night on Cherokee; then went to Hamm's the next day.

i've caught many bass out of these lakes over the past year, but i cant seem to get on them this year, also i was wondering if anyone knew where to find the catfish at these lakes, i've went catfishing three times this year, with jugs and poles, and have only caught one blue catfish on a jug, and where i go the channels are usually running really good, last year we couldn't go without bringing back atleast ten

The cat's came up a little early this year. Not sure about on Douhlas, but over here they did. I've done good on top water the past few weeks for bass. Getting way over the limit, and having to pick out the big ones.

Doing really well in coves and channels.

If you like good smallmouth bass fishing, try the Little River.
You might not catch a 6 pounder, but you might have fun.

I have not fished eather in a long time. But you use to be able to fish at the swimming hole at Cherokee dam at night when it was closed to swimmers. You will not catch any big cats but there are plenty of nice eating size. dont know if you can fish there any more.
