Any body used them? and what do you think about them?
Been thinkin about swapping to them, but not sure if i want to after realizing they are 11.3 gpi. I am currently shooting the maxima 350 wich are either 8.0 or 8.2 gpi, can't remember right off hand. they would be more than 50 gr heavier than what i'm currently shooting. just not sure if i wanna go that much heavier.

Thanks

I use them and IMO they are a fine hunting arrow. I like a heavier arrow and on top of being smaller diameter suite me fine. Don't have to worry about scraping carbon when re-fletching. I've have yet to bend or break one, but I have had only pass-thus on deer and turkey without hitting anything much afterwords . They do have the aluminum trait of possibly bending, but I have had no problems at all.

I'm pretty sure Double Drops hunts with them and likes them. I use the regular (original) Axis arrows and really, really like them. The entire Axis line is well made.

I'm using the N-Fused Epics, but I almost bought some of the FMJ's. I've heard nothing but good things about the FMJ's though.

I've been using them since they first came out. The first ones I saw are the ones I ordered for me (working at at pro shop, at the time). I have bent one and broken a couple. All at the range in Hendersonville, shooting through the bales and hitting the wood in the frame or trees behind. The two I have bent ran through my trusty ole Full Adjust Straightner and they are good as new.

Shot an 8 pointer with them at 30yards, thru and thru. Thunderhead 125 tipped. Deer jumped at impact ran 7-10 yards stopped walked another 15-20 and fell. That arrow will be back in my bow quiver come October.

I am shooting the 300's at 76lbs. 31 1/4 inches.

My bow is an older one (13 year old Hoyt Defiant) and not real quiet with regular carbons. But with the FMJ's it pretty quiet. Not as quiet as the new Bowtechs, Matthews or Hoyts. But pretty quiet.
