Has anybody taken it to get your TN boaters license?
If so, how hard is it? I may be taking it pretty soon.

I took it in my Wildlife class this year we went over the whole book i would study it mostly buoy markers i missed 11 and could only miss 12.

Take the practice test online a few times. My Daughter and nephew took it a few months ago. It covers tons of stuff that is really unnessasary for boating safety. But if you don't pass, it cost nothing to take it again. The local library gives the test here in this area, online, and can be taken anytime a computer is open. All the questions on the test are on the practice tests if you take the practice test enough. There are a couple hundred questions, and when you take the test, the computer randomly picks 60. They are sometimes worded differently.

daughter took her class on Friday night and then the test. Passed no problems. Sat we were on the pontoon boat and the game warden who held the class pulled us over. He knew my daughter and didn't even check us. He was proud she was practicing. We talked for 10 mins and I asked him why they institued this law. Anyone know the reason other than safety..there is one.

I can't think of much else other than safety, same reason for hunter safety I guess.
