I would like to get back out there myself, its been several years since I have been. Watts bar was where we always went as well, nothing like it, definitely ups the pucker factor when you "find" one!!!

How much beer is required for one to do such a thing? Seems like catching rattlesnakes would be safer.

The truly profound question and observation! At least you can see the rattlesnake before you have to get "up close and personal". lol

When catfish get big, their sharp fins get dull. Like puppy dog teth... when they're little, they're sharp as tacks. But as they get older, teeth (or fins) get worn down and dull. Other than gettin' bit, big ones are much safer then litle ones.

As for where we were... launched out of Euchee Marina.. went downstream and upstream. I'm rarely on Watts Bar so I was lost most of the time.

two questions: How you get those pictures to sequence like that and does your daughter keep her sunglasses on?
