Why can't a Tn resident purchase a trip lic? I took some buddies who've not hunted in years to Reelfoot for a late Jan. Duck hunt. I told them to go get a 3 or 7 day lic. They were told they had to purchase a annual lic. Cost them over a $100 for a Lic. that expires at end of Feb. We should switch to Arkansas system were the lic. is good for a year from date of purchase if we cant buy trip lic.

GA's is also good for one year from date of purchase.

Although, unless you buy it late one year and limit out early the next you still have to buy one each year, at least I do.

He bought a 1 day WMA permit. Not a 1 day license.

If they were only going to hunt for a couple of days, they could have purchased the Type 001 (annual license)for $28.00, and the types 092 and 090 for a total of $14.00/day.

If they bought their license anywhere around Reelfoot lake I can believe anything.
Been told several times that I had to purchase a Reelfoot Lake user permit whether or not I had a spotsman license.
People down there don't have a clue.
Wait,,, SOME people down there don't have a clue.

The 090 is a 1-Day Reelfoot Preser. Permit ($3.50) and the 092 is a 1-day WMA Small Game and Waterfowl Permit ($10.50). They would be needed in addition to the Type 001 Annual Hunting and Fishing license to waterfowl hunt on Reelfoot.
