I guess if the waters cool enough they could still be.

They've pretty much wrapped it up for the most part on the reservoir type stuff I've been fishing but the water temps are nudging into the 80's.

Floated the Stones River last weekend.Caught 10 smallmouth(3 in the 2-3lbs range) 15-20 redeye.Rebel Craw,Yum Craw Bug,Cotton Candy grub,Chartreuse Whirly Bee,Bitsy Bug pumpkin color that's what we caught them on.The Rebel Craw was the best producer the brown fish really liked it.If that won't get them getcha some creek minnows or live craws that sure will.Good Luck!

I don't know how many I caught, but I wore out some smallmouth and redeye yesterday on a Pink rooster tail.

Caught so many, I left this morning and bought every pink rooster tail Walmart had in stock!

this time of year i have had great success in the creeks throwing flukes and baby flukes. small jaws love them. also in the morning or afternoon i would throw a spook jr or a small skitterwalk. about the first of july i will start throwing buzzbaits and watch them explode. Have fun!
It's about that time.
