I know its a little early yet, but it looks like we may be having our best hatch in years, in NE Hardin Co.

No no, haven't you read everyone's posts? The turkeys are close to being endangered and if somebody doesn't do something about the harvest limits soon we may lose the entire species!

How many broods have you seen and how long have you been seeing them?

We've seen five different broods with from 2 to as many as 10 maybe more pullets in them. Most of the pullets are Quail size.

My buddy saw a hen with four poults this morning on our place, which he says were large chicken size. That size can fly as good as the hen.

Friday I saw 8 tom's and jakes in my upper field...and yesterday morning two good size jakes in my front field and yard. Seems the same as last year at this time...hopefully, I won't run over eggs this year while hogging my fields.

Saw 4 hens with about 20 poults Monday evening. Poults were about grown chicken size.
