I took my main fishing partner to the pond yesterday, It was his first trip to lake guntersville. It was freaking hot and the grass is starting to surface out of the water but all in all it wasn't a terrible day.

This pix looks funny because my partner is techno-stupid!

It was a tough day I think we caught about 12-14...some of my best spots are hard to fish now because of how much the grass has grown. I need to find some better spots near or n deep water! I may go down this evening.

Nice catch ! When the grass is just starting to top out , I like to fish a buzzbait over the top of the grass in the early morning . If it's too thick , I use a fluke.
When the sun pops out , I flip the edges . When they go , deep I use a carolina rigged lizard on the ledges.
