Well, besides being entirely miserable and wore out from fishing for almost a solid 8 hours today, and being sun-burned to the point that I'm considering taking a bath in a tub aloe vera, we had a pretty good day. We didn't bring in one of those 50+ fish stringers everybody is talking about, but we caught several and had a good time anyway. With all the talk about rain and thunderstorms we figured we'd need rain jackets more than sun-screen so all three of us ended up looking like lobsters at the end of the day! \:D

Here's my "HOG" of the day! \:D Other than him I only landed a couple small largemouth.

Of course, when you bring someone with you who doesn't do much bass fishing and give him crap about never catching bass, not being able to bass fish, not being much of a fisherman in general, etc, etc, etc. \:D (All in good humor, of course). He's going to be the one to show everyone else up. This is my friend "JonB" and his 5.8lb Largemouth. If you know him in person be sure to compliment him on his awesome tan........ \:D

There were three of us, unfortunately the other guy only caught as many bass as I did, but didn't have a "trophy" \:D to take a picture of. We all had a great trip and plan to give em' another try as soon as we can. \:\)

Nice bass your buddy caught. I went down last Tuesday and had a good day. I didn't catch many on the main river channel, most of the fish I caught was in back of a creek that ran into the main channel.
The best things in life, aren't things.
