i go out of my way for pure gas. ethanol cost me a good motor in the 80's.

It creates the same problems in many types of equipment such as chainsaws,weedeaters,leafblowers,ect..

texaco and chevron still have pure gas. and some of the local owned stations have pure gas.

Absolutely correct. Runs fine in my truck. Won't have it in my boat. (Maybe the fact they give me a new truck every year is a factor.) My motor is 16 years old and still runs like a dream. 90 hp Merc, oil injected. With just me in in the boat and the seats down, it will hit 58-mph. That is just about 10-mph faster than I care go. I can fish three days on a tank of gas. I spend more than that on Vokky.

Phillups 66 in Camden still has it.A few cents more sometimes but better MPG.

that's another plus. i get 3-5 mpg better on mid-grade pure gas.
