I'd like to know what tournament trail they are fishing so I can avoid it. The heaviest 5 fish bag I've ever heard of on KY Lake is 29.40 and I fish most of the bigger tournaments on the lake with the exception of the FLW and BASS events. And they never catch that much weight either.

I do know of a couple of 10lbers that were caught this spring and several 9's though.

I did finish 3rd this year with 24.94 though. \:\(

Btw, Congrats Mossyhorns.

Thanks bud. I always look forward to your reports, whether it be Kentucky Lake or anywhere else. I'd like to fish with you one time or just sit around and pick your brain a bit one day. I know that the Fisher's of Men had a Tourney on Saturday out of Paris Landing, but I'm not sure what it took to win it.

Mossyhorns, that's me, Kevin Van Dam, actually I taught him everything he knows. I guess I came on kind of strong, but your posts sounded like to me that you were Kevin Van Dam. I do not bass fish much at all anymore. To me they are about as exciting to catch as getting teeth pulled when I can catch stripers and hybrids on top. And there was a time in my life when I hated stripers and hybrids and did nothing but bass fish.

What?? You're kidding me, right? Because I reported on what I found at Kentucky Lake and stated that I caught alot of fish each day, you want to bash me because I only had 15.50 lbs for 5???

Whatever dude. Just because you don't like to bass fish anymore doesn't mean you need to come on here and knock me for coming on here and giving my report for what I found. I thought that was what the fishing forum was for. My posts are no different than yours are when it comes to you posting about the big stripers and hybrids you catch or the times you sat out on humps and ledges catching 5 lbers every cast with your Dad or whatever.

Fella can't even post about a fishing trip anymore without getting bashed over here like people do in the Serious Deer Forum for killing a "small" buck.

You won't have to worry about me posting anymore of my small fish and small bags from tournaments anymore. I'll just sit back and and congratulate you on all of the fine fish you catch whether they be big or small. What a douche.

Nice Mossyhorns, when did I ever "bash" you? All I did was post what I had heard about and are some really nice stringers. You bashed me and guess what, I do not care but I will throw it back at you. Sorry you can't catch what the other guys are and I guess you are jealous.

Look man, I do this for fun. I never claimed to be good. I just love to fish and share what I find on the water with other folks on here because I think it might help someone else out. We're just a bunch of regular guys in a bass club who fish a tourney once a month mostly for bragging rights and a little gas money. No, I'm not jealous because I didn't catch a 25 lb bag. I'm happy they caught the fish and I'm plenty happy with what I caught. I HAD FUN. I apologize for the name calling, but you didn't have to belittle what I caught just because someone you know had a much bigger bag. I don't have to have 25 lb sacks to determine whether I had a great day or not. I caught 35-50 fish a day and I was happy with that. That's all I was trying to convey.

MH- I like your posts. I've been focusing a lot on crappie this spring and it's been nice to sort of bass fish vicariously through you, lol. Keep it up!

MH- I dont fish anymore, got the desire, but not the equipment. I applaud you for reporting: 1)the bait that was, or was not working; 2)the location; and 3) overall report. I was there with you.

Thanks for the story,
Carl
