file off the bottom of it with a small round file so it is just inside the hole and not sticking into the barrel
had to do the same thing with a brass bead on a model 97 win pump i had a long time ago that i had reconditioned, reblued and restocked and the bead post was a little to long and stuck down inside the barrel
