Amazing how many folks forgot or don't care that this sport was designed to be up close a personal, not a long range deer shot.

I remember when birds that wouldn't come closer than 40 yards were considered "hung up" and were hunted another day. But I also remember when 100 yards was a long shot with a muzzleloader. My son and i passed up 65 yard wide open shot on a double earlier this season. Still working on those same two birds for that opportunity. No regrets for passing the shot.
