Now I know why I was laughed at the first time I went. I brought a pole, a small box of lures and wore khaki cargo shorts as my wading gear.

I was clearly under-supplied.

Trapper...that's all you need. If you can't catch all the fish you need on 2-3 different baits, especially trout, you ain't no kind of angler. I stick them in my hat. Cargo pants are the apparel of the Gods.
