Boys- repaint the head and add some wings, drives them even more crazy. a little early for the tom decoys, but last three days they have been all over it. late in the afternoon is the best, have run from it early in the morning. prolly going to leave him at the house during juvy, but he will work later in season. good luck!

Are you painting the head with more red? I did that to mine last year. Head just seemed too white to me.

I added more red, some blue, and some purple to my B-Mobile's head. It worked awesome last year!

I'm curious, explain how you can legally take 3 with one shot?

Fall Hunting. 3 burds per county-up to 5 counties.15 burds total. Possible to kill all 15 burds in the same day. If you have the Sportsman or Lifetime you may re-enter at no cost and receive all you want until they run out. Not sure if all counties in the state allow this. I've known of some folks/teams killing up to 30 in a day. All legal with the proper permits.

Im glad that people love to jump on a guy cause they think they know rules when they dont but since your so curious here ya go brother and next time check you twra hand book!

I didn't jump on anybody, hothead, I just asked a simple question. Wouldn't mind to be able to pull the trigger on a couple I could line up legally, myself.

Another thing, I never heard of anyone using decoys to fall hunt, although I guess it makes sense. I always heard of busting up the flock and calling them back - I don't do the fall hunt because it's prime time deer hunting.

Looks like it's really someone else who thinks they know it all. And you know just what you can do with that permit...BROTHER.

Turkeyburd, thanks for your reply. I knew no one was dumb enough to admit taking 3 illegally on this forum, so that's why I asked...I wasn't sure.

In our area of the state, when they draw, your limit is one bird period. And there's never leftover fall tags here that I've found out about.

Anyways...Thanks for asking about Mothwing - It's a small camo company started here in NETN that's been out a few years. They have several different patterns. Matter of fact they just came out with an awesome new Spring pattern. Check it out and tell me what you think - go to mothwing.com.

It's ok.

But you're a smart, level headed guy who doesn't jump to conclusions, so I'll bet if you think about it long and hard you'll figure out what you can do with the permit. \:D

I know what to do with the permit and thats cute since im the hothead and your sure not. I was trying to be the bigger person and admit i was wrong for what i did but i can see your going to be the little person and not let it go so its fine good luck to ya this upcoming bird season! sorry to upset ya so much over something that was a non issue once you explained it to me!

I thought this was over. I acknowleded you said you were sorry and I said it was ok. If you'll shut up, it will be.

Remember, just because you're sorry doesn't mean you didn't piss someone off. If you can't handle the answer don't ask the question.

Now...let's get past it. OK

And good luck to you too this season.

Very cool! I think you will really like em. Tough stuff and should be water resistant. I plan on doing like you and getting some of the spring pants (for all the green in it) and using the fall or canyon shirt.

Sorry for the hijack turkeyburd.

I am wanting one of those Pretty Boy decoys myself, but how are they carrying them in? You can't fold em up can you? The fan you have to use with em seems like would get torn up pretty quick, especially how I hunt.

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores...009000_425-9-13 The new for this year Carry-Lite® Pretty Boy® gobbler decoy ushered in a new era of turkey hunting, and the new Peep’n Tom makes using mature gobbler decoys even more effective. At 10 percent smaller than the Pretty Boy, Peep’n Tom won’t intimidate lone gobblers, and it comes with two detachable heads, a strutting and an active, molded from real freeze-dried taxidermy turkey heads for realism. Like the Pretty Boy, hunters can replace the included photo reproduction fan with a real fan, but with the Peep’n Tom, they also can replace the synthetic, adjustable beard with a real beard. Make it a strutting jake! Plus, the soft, collapsible material allows for easy transport in a game vest. Realistic, iridescent paint scheme.Me and burd use real fans and one fan usuly last me the whole season.

Thanks for posting the info. I have seen how they really do work, but I can't believe they are $89!!!

The decoys I have used up to this point were bought new in 95 and have many a bb hole, barely any paint left..I'm honestly ashamed to post a pic of em....but they still work believe it or not. I left my jake deke in the woods last Spring and found it during bow season after something had tried to eat it. Musta fell out of my pack on last day of the season, because I had no idea I'd lost it when I found it...lol.

Tom and hen are carried in a bag, but you'll get use to it. As far as the fan, go to midwestturkeycall.com and order you a fan saver. Camo carrier that completely protects the fan. Costs about $45. I think? Waiting on my camo. lol

I got a B-Mobile. If I'm not using him, I roll him up and put him in my vest. The real tail fan is also collapsable. I usually use two tail fans a season. I also killed a couple birds without him last year ( he was rolled up in my vest). Last year me, two of my buddies, and my little brother got a shot at mature toms using him. All were killed except for my little bro! He was so mad! The bird was only 15 steps away! Shot right over him.

ya the pretty boy is 99 bucks on bass pros site but i think the new one will make pretty boy a thing of the past.I have a buddy believe it of not he will put pretty boy up in front of his face and craw through a field if the tom has hens once he gets to about 100 yards the tom will come right at him then he will jump up and shot him its crazy he killed a triple beard doing this last year he says if he finds a burd in a field with a little tall grass and he has hens he will kill him everytime and he does!
