How is the best way to build a snare for coyote or dog, bending over small sapling with rope or other ideas. We have some uncollered dogs in the neighborhood . They like to kill fenced in domesticated turkeys, not eat them, just kill them. Any ideas, thanks. PM me if you want to replay that way.

google search it, I had I guy in montana show me. You can make them with braided wire and a bent washer with two holes drilled in it. this is the snare he uses in montana and has probably caught 5 times more coyotes than I will probably ever see in my life. Also, there is no bent trees or anything involved, just hang it in a fence or along a trail.

there is a vedio on youtube about this. Its something about Kentucky trapping or kentucky coyote trapping it was a pretty good vidio that went into great detail to show you how to do it right.

Have you thought about a electric fence outside the turkey pen ?? Put some foil with alittle peanut butter on it about every 3 or 4 feet on the hot wire. One lick they won't come back. This will work when the critters are trap on snare shy.
