Congrats brother. Looks like you get after em pretty tuff. And as far as the "little ones" comments. You don't know what his spurs are gonna be like till you shoot him. I've killed a good number of mature birds with short and broken spurs. There's some good spurs in there also. Again Congrats Captain.
We actually killed a fully mature 22lb tom last year (full fan, 11" beard) with nubs for spurs. First time I had seen that one!

Weird when it happens, I have seen them before that had no spurs and looked like they never even started to grow them. If I ever get to where I am scoping spurs before I shoot, then I am hanging it up.

nice collection!!!
i moved this past winter and somehow have misplaced all my stuff including most of my calls :(.............they are somewhere just have not found them yet!!
i started by keeping and displaying fans, however once you get more then 10 you learn they are not very small and are not that easy to store or display lol looking back i wish i would have kept all the spurs to start with

I killed a mature 20lb tom with a 9"beard last yr and there wasn't even a nub on either leg.
