I got one and I use the extreme full choke that came with it...never killed a turkey with it but I'm deadly on my fence posts!

I have the Remington 870 specialty turkey gun and I use the factory choke with #5 copper plated Remington shells in 3 1/2. It does well.

I have a 870 SPS-T 23" barrel and use a 660 Rhino and
Winchester X-Range 3-1/2" #5s
Deadly combo for me

I shoot 870 super mag, 23 inch barrel. 665 mad max choke. My best pattern is a winchester 3 inch number 4 hv. My gun does not shoot number 5's well. All 3.5 that have shot have yet to out perform 3inch shells. I have not shot the high dollar shells , cant afford them.

I am amazed to read so many guys have not had luck with a #5. I shoot a super mag 3.5 inch #5. My barrell loves the 5 over 4 and 6. .665 restriction

660 rhino and nitro H51013 4x5x7 hevi-shot. Im almost afraid to post a pellet count!
Same here...660 rhino does the turkeys good...I have a 870 express magnum with the force-it-cone lengthened and it shoots out to 60 yards...Great combo
