What load and choke are you shooting.
Anyone shot a few loads out of a strut stopper? That is what is currently on my gun and patterns horrible with wiinchester supreme copper plated number 5's.

I've got one.
I've got the factory 26" barrel and a Hunter Specialties Undertaker 0.665" choke. Last year I shot the regular 3" Winchester Supreme with #6 shot and it done good up to about 35 yards. The pattern wasn't so good any further than that. I'm trying #5's this year to see if that helps.

i got a strut stopper in my 535 and it shoots the win high velocity 3" and 3-1/2" shells good.

Yep
870 with a 660 jellyhead
I'm gonna shot nitro's , Xtended range, hevi 13 , and whatever else i can get my hands on in 6 shot. Except the nitro's will be the H378 4x5x7

i have never been able to shoot 5's in any of my guns.I have gotten much better patterns with 6's.I bought several tubes I am going to try out soon.Last year i had a jelly head and the factory choke.both shot almost the same.I was putting 80-100 pellets in the head and neck of the target at 30 yards with 3.5 win.#6.

did you try the 517?i would like to know which one people have had better patterns with.

i shoot an 870 super. I found IN MINE i shoot 4's the best out of a gobbling thunder choke.
the true glow ported choke patterns pretty well out of it too.
IN MINE federal shells are the worst and Winchester are the best followed by Remington 2nd.
