I think I would like it. I keep talking about taking my bow but haven't yet. That would force me to if I wanted to hunt.

Like TheAirMan said, it might actually force me to take the bow like I keep planning to do but never do it. On the other hand, turkey season is so short anyway I don't think it would fly.

I've been thinking about giving turkey hunting with a bow a try. But like Gravey said the season is pretty short and cutting folks out of the prime hunting time wouldnt fly.

Just add an extra week so juvy and bow started a week earlier and then gun season would follow on time....

I like the idea. BUT, I already hunt with archery equipment so it would be a bonus for me...lol
You guys that have not tried need to! You talk about a rush, trying to beat all the sharp eyes and get drawn, and having to hold it for a long while, etc DO IT WITHOUT THE BLINDS THOUGH! Heck, inside a blind the only increase in challenge is making the shot.

No,keep it like it is.If people want to bow hunt they can.i don't want to shoot one with a bow in the spring.i just hate to waste the meat shooting it with an arrow. There is not that much to start with I feel bad if I waste any.
