can anybody give me some info on cherokee? fished a little by the dam today but was unaware of what the river looked like down stream. can a john boat navigate on no water? are there other boat ramps downstream? how far down river can you catch trout? any help would be appreciated

he said there used to be a ramp that was down side of the [censored], but it has been years so he says so that he can't remember the name of the road... But look up google virtual earth and you can definately find what you want to find.

With the water off...no, as far as a john boat. There are shoals that will require you to get out and push and scrape your boat across them. Canoes, drift boats, small pontoons, but everyone I have ever talk to, including a neighbor who tried it said it was "horrible" once the water fell out.
