DITO, I have used it since it came out and won't try to hang a stand without it , Safe and easy. The H.S. pully system that is.

thanks i just really struggle gettin that strap around the tree and hold the stand at the same time. I haul my strap ons up the tree with a rope. When I get it up to the height I need it I tie the rope off. The only other tip that helps alot If I can find a tree growing in a V shape put your stand in the notch of the V. No deer can slip up behind me, or come up on my off side.

Use a linemans belt, that way you have both hands free to work with, makes it much easier and safer!

What I done was I took a rachet strap and added a couple of hooks to it and when I climb up to where I want to hang the stand I put that strap around the tree about three foot above where I want my plat form. I then pull up the stand with a pull up rope and I hang it on the hooks. This holds the stand and I then have both my hands to lock it down to the tree.. hope this helps
