From reading post on here and other forums I ordered and just recieved a new choke and shells for hunting this year. I went with a Truglo Strut stopper and Fiocchi #5's. I will post results in a couple weeks when I patern them.
I also just mounted an old scope on my 835 to try this year. Here is a pic of it with "home grown camo"

watch that scope remember the eye relief in pressure and quick shot opportunities.. if you don't you will bleed. I learned from experience. shootings rifles by instinct I drew up quick and the gun reminded me the eye relief is there for a reason.

To make things worse the little rubber ring that goes on the back of the scope is missing. I am going to get something to put on there. If you guys know of any product names or places to look it would be much appreciated.
renegade I learned how the 835 kicks last year when I knocked teeth loose shooting 3 1/2's. I am not going to do that again, 3's are good enough for me.

I have this choke on my 835 also. I agree that is does help the recoil with the 3 1/2.
