do you think that the patterns everyone gets are more a result of the load or the choke?before anyone says a combo of both choose which one you think is the most important.i have never shot either.i just got to thinking that it could be more a result of the shell.i know the rhino is a great tube but there are a lot of good tubes that are a lot cheaper of course you could say that about the nitro shot as well.has anyone shot the nitro loads out of a different choke? If so what kind of pattern did you get?

even though you said not to say it, it IS a combination of both! I shot Nitro ammo thru a Gobblin Thunder tube for years before switching to a Rhino. The Rhino tube picked me up over ONE HUNDRED PELLETS compared to the GT tube! Im putting enough in a 10" circle now to equate to shooting him twice with anything else!

They also recommend the Primos Jelly Head choke. "The bore (inside) of the barrel is the most important part of your shotgun. We recommend a highly polished bore without lengthening the forcing cone."

well i wondered how long it would take for someone to say both.from what i have seen nitro has regular loads and hevi loads.the hevi loads seem to give much better patterns but are very expensive.
Well you said you got a lot better groups in the rhino.Have you ever shot any other loads in it to see if you get a higher pellet count in it than with other choke tubes?

What Hunt sayed. Nitro does have a few loads they recommend to shoot with the Primos Jelly Head choke. I would shoot the combination Nitro suggest to shoot in your gun.

The rhino choke did improve my patterns with factory ammo but not enough to justify the cost if i wasnt gonna shoot the nitros. That being said If i could only choose one I would buy the nitro shells and and shoot them through a factory choke.

cant say for sure, but my buddy uses the nitro shells and a rhino choke in his 870 and gets really good patterns. that being said i use the strut stopper choke out of my 535 with winchester 3.5 #5 and get alot better pattern. thhink its more so what gun you got. you dont need a high dollar super tight choke to kill a turkey.

The reason Nitro recommends Primos chokes is he and Rhino had a falling out. If he had a choice he would still be a Rhino dealer and advocate. What to do? Go with Primos as the next alturnative.

Rhino chokes are really, really good chokes.

I've never tried the nitro's out of my jellyhead tube. I have the winchester supremes now and it starts losing a good pattern at about 35. Thinkin about tryin some Hevi-shot
