i doubt it would work unless you feed them year round. and that would probably be very $$$ and illegal.

This is from Hunter Specialties website:
You want more turkeys on your property. The continuous balanced nutrition provided by Beard Builder supplement encourages visiting wild turkeys to stay in an area where you want them. Better nutrition maximizes turkey reproduction. Research proves that balanced nutrition maximizes egg production of hen turkeys.
You want bigger trophy toms with longer beards. The turkey beard grows continuously at a rate of 4-5 inches per year, but weak areas (stress lines) cause the beard to break when it grows long enough to drag on the ground. Our research shows faster beard growth and the continued balanced nutrition minimizes weak areas in the beard and allows beard length to reach its full potential.
Instructions: 10 pounds of pelleted concentrate supplement fortifies up to 200 lbs. of grain. Mix Beard Builder supplement with corn or milo.
Additional info: Beard Builder Supplement was developed and formulated by a team of PhD poultry nutritionists and Board Certified poultry veterinarians.
Caution: Do not feed to sheep or goats. This product contains a high level of copper. Contents are not for human consumption. When using this product, please follow all applicable game laws.

Well, we have come full circle! From rack building supplements to beard building supplements. lol I wonder if the sheep/goat/copper disclaimer also applies to whitetails? That would be a heck of note wouldn't it? Trying to grow longer beards and kill all of your deer in the process.

I works really well on my property. I start feeding this time of year and by spring they are showing the results. I also spray Rogaine on it before putting it out. By spring time I don't have to use a gun because the gobblers are tripping over their beards. My best so far is 36 and 5/8 inches.
