With the big mess in Kingston is the striper fishing effected by the pond break? Can you get to the area below the steam plant? I have yet to actually figure out where that is exactly. Anybody know?
I personally hope nobody on the board is in or around that mess.

My wifes Mother lives just up the emory river from the plant. The spill could not have done anything other than hurt the fishing in that whole area. I haven't seen it in person, but the news photos and my wife talking to her mom, It's pretty bad. The road going to her moms house is closed. That's the road you would normally take to get to the plant entrance. I don't think there is any traffic going through there.

That's a shame..
It's going to take awhile to get that cleaned up

You know it. I hope it don't hurt the stripe run in the spring. Man that is some of the most fun you can have fishing.

You can still fish below the discharge. Crappie fishing above the spill has been average. The water level is just about full pool. That is making fishing, for this time of year, a little harder.
