Right now I am pulling 70lbs but after crushing my collar bone and one metal plate and 9 screws being put in my collar bone I'm not sure I will be able to do it anymore. Doc will not let me pull one back for a while.

62-65 lbs, I can easily pull 70 lbs but there is no need for it, my bow at 63 lbs is pushing the arrow along at 288 fps which is fast enough for me.

Something to be said for that if it is better for your body.
I have dropped mine off of 60# a few times, and you don't give up that much for the deer hunting I do out to 35- yds.

I can draw and shoot at 70#,but I can't last a season of it without rotator cuff surgery.

Some people buy bows based upon speed only from what I read.
IMO it's not the most important factor for deer hunting. JMO.

Currently shooting 83 lbs with my ole HCA Custom Royal 3D Champion. It's fast, I shoot one pin out to thirtyfive yards and another pin 3/16" below it, set at fifty yards. That's all it needs. \:\)

During hunting season I use my BowTech set at 71 lbs. Speed is better than silence imo.

Silence is better than speed when it comes to hunting . No arrow speed is faster than a deer's reaction time to the sound of a loud bow .

But if anybody has ever killed a deer with a loud fast bow then wouldn't that prove that their arrow speed was definitely faster than a deer’s reaction time. \:\)

Hey Radar…

I’m just messing with ya. Sorry, I have no doubt that you know a lot more about this subject than I do. Can I still shoot my bow?

Peace.
