I pulled my clacka out to montana the first of october and stayed for three weeks, fishing the yellowstone, madison, shields, boulder, blackfoot and several other rivers. i had just came back from being in iraq for 13 months, so it was my way of unwinding. it was my first time ever being out west and i fell in love with montana. it snowed 10 to 12 in. on me the second week, making camping really cold, but it didn't keep me off the water. i caught a bunch of fish, 14 to 17 inches being the average. i did hook up with several browns that were 25+ but didn't get any pictures of them. below are just a few pics of some fish and scenery.
