I bought a new mossberg 535. I used the factory extra full choke it came with and missed two birds with it. I couldnt find any aftermarket chokes during spring because it was a new model. I was wondering if the ported mossberg chokes where any better?

You guys are too high tech.
Savage/Stephens Model 94H single shot,30 inch barrel, Federal 3in MAG w/#4shot.
This gun is prob. over 40 yrs old(was my grandpa's) but is nice and light for trekking in the woods. I call it 'ole Blasty'. It does kick like a scalded mule; let's you know you actually shot something.
Got a gobbler back in the spring as well as another tom AND hen(in one shot!) this past week during the special season. Nuff said.

The 535 mossburg uses the same choke as the 500 mossburg. I bought my kids a 535 and I like em.
