Whats the rules on Turkey hunting at Catoosa? Do you have to be drawn to hunt there? or is it open to the public?

non-quota. They have specific hunting dates, but it is open to the public with proper over the counter permits.

tuff hunting man... lots of walking, and not that much gobbling has been my experience. but i see so many during deer season... i think they know

page 60 of the hunting guide.six hunts - apr.3-5,10-12,14-16,21-23,24-26,28-30.one turkey per hunt,not to exceed 2 per season. turkeys count towards statewide bag.

There is no fall season at Catoosa and T Realtree is right about what he said.

It can be pretty rough as far as hearing gobblers but there are several birds there. Alot of the young dumb ones stand on the side of the roads and get busted.
