anywhere from dickey bridge down to harms had great luck this summer caught several nice 3lb smallies and even caught a 4.5 redeyes lay in groups in the rocks and tree roots. tons of 1lb to 2lb fish and an occasional largemouth.

when you are creek fishing there is no better bait for the smallies or a big ol fat bluegill. i just pick em out of the creek as i go

I have had good sucess with them on Watauga Lake. They didn't last too long though, the redeye's would pull the legs off.
