This rifle is new in box. Chambered in 45-90 so it can also shoot 45-70. The lawyers stamped the barrel for black powder only but all owners ignore that and use smokeless and this rifle will handle some very lethal loads. Reaching over 2,000 fps with a 400 grain slug is easy. Starline sells brass and bullets are .458 so they are easy to find.
