Tennessee recruiting 2024 class.

Just moved to #10 with another 4* WR committing today. Gives the vols ten 4* or better players in the class so far.

Braylon Staley #2 player in South Carolina. Would have probably been a Clemson tiger under the previous Tennessee coaching staffs had 3 crystal balls to Clemson.

10 of the vols 15 commits are 4*or higher according to 247.

That # would give the vols 24 four/five* players in the 2023/2024 classes with plenty of time for that # to grow ( that's not counting transfers)

They really need to get Amari Jefferson. He's a Percy Harvin type player. Saban is obsessed with him.
Right now the staff thinks they can get Jefferson and Mike Matthews. Wait and see attitude about Ryan Wingo as he's the lowest priority of the 3.

9 In the 2023 class. Dlineman, CBs, And LBs

That's not counting mutiple 4* athletes that can play D or O not sure where some will end Up.
Also got 3 Defensive players in the portal in 2023. Two from BYU one from Arizona.

About to find out over the next 2 years if UT can have a half way decent D under coach hype.

The O-line is the weak spot

Elarbee is the best o-line coach Tennessee's had in a good while but a terrible recruiter.

He plays down the road from me . He's only a 3* but may end up being a great player. Not sure how hard they are after him but they got some good linemen coming.

Some got worried about the vols recruiting Linemen. Because they go fast, wondering if the NFL would take them seriously.

But if you win 11 games, and get a Linemen drafted top 10 that stuff takes care of itself.
