Both the Stoeger and the SA 20 Turkey are great guns. The biggest difference the Mossberg is gas driven and the Stoeger is inertia. I like the feel of the Inertia better in my hand, that's just me. I have a 3020 also in bottomland. Now I will really confuse you Lol, I have a Weatherby Element turkey version in bottomland that I absolutely love and it is also a inertia gun. It's not drilled and tapped but I got a meadow creek mount and really like it as well as my tapped mounts. That's just another option in the same price range maybe even less. The two you are looking at are great guns, they both will.flat out shoot! I use a Carlson 575 turkey in both. Good luck, you will absolutely love the 20 ! Get one and don't look back, thank goodness I don't carry that 835 anymore!
The 3020 in the turkey version is drilled and tapped but has the sight that Gravey had to fix. The Normal 3020 does not have the awful sight but is not drilled and tapped. I have the Mossberg SA 20 Turkey Thug as it was once called it's drilled and tapped.
