Fyi! If anyone need to grow a food plot but cant plow or even disk deep. No plow is by far the best in our opinion. We have a fiber optic line that runs through our small track of land and we can not dig what so ever. So we mowed as low as we could, waited a week for it to start growing and then sprayed and killed it. We waited on some rain and the took a chain drag and drug as much grass off the top as possible. Try to see as much dirt as possible. Applyed the right fertilizer and lime, then waited for before rain ans sowed the seed. It was awesome! The plots look like hey do on tv and we had our best year ever seeing deer and even harvesting. This place usually doesnt get good till rut, but last year opening day my wife had 2 of the biggest bucks we have seen in the plot eating. What a difference it made. Just thought i would share. Cant wait to do again this fall!
