Any deer killed within the CMZ if taken on the weekend will be tested for CWD. Any deer that a hunter wants tested within the CMZ will also be tested. Since CWD is here to stay, this testing will continue indefinitely. As the CMZ expands to other counties, additional testing will be required. All the samples are sent off to a Colorado testing facility. Eventually, this will be 10's of thousands of tests each year. I doubt this has been fully reserved for and will cost extra. Possibly, this testing cost pales in comparison to the additional personnel cost of dealing with CWD. How will this added cost be handled?
