use only the breast,marinate over nite in red wine,eyetalian dressing & some tenderizer,wrap with bacon pin it with a toothpick,grill over a charcoal fire with a little hickory throwed on it,if you like hot add a strip of pepper under the bacon or add some diced to the marinade,mike243

I marinate mine is italian dressing with some olive oil mixed in as well.
If you can find it, get the dry italian dressing mix and use ONLY olive oil, there is a big difference.
Wrap the dove breast in bacon and don't be stingy with it. If you have to use a whole piece of bacon, use it.
Soak your toothpicks in water before you start then use them to stob the bacon on.
Get your fire hot, then let it cool just a bit before putting them on the grill.
Pay attention to them and until the bacon grease gets through dripping you can burn them bad if you ain't careful.
Take your time and don't try to cook them too hot or too fast.
Just like with deer, DO NOT over cook them though.
Nothing really special but they sure are good.
