I have clover in one area and just started reading about the homemade fertilizers. I didnt get a soil ph level test because of time, but I found this topic interesting. What would you guys reccomend for a new clover food plot.

If you mix up some composted chicken litter and some ash it would help out. You would need to get your hands on a good bit of it though.

If the chicken litter is applied before the plot is planted I eoukd think it would really help. I might be leary of applying it on existing clover or young clover due to the high nitrogen content might burn it.
